What this is
Speakeasy Terminal is a private beta of a market-data terminal, open only to invited testers. Access is controlled by an allow-list of email addresses.
Signing in
Sign-in is handled by Cloudflare Access using your Google account. Google tells Cloudflare your email address (and basic profile details); Cloudflare tells this app only your verified email address. We never see or store your Google password. Cloudflare keeps you signed in with a session cookie until the session expires or you sign out.
What we store
- Your email address, and when you first and last used the app.
- What you add to the app: tickers on the shared list and their status, IV values you enter, and your portfolio and its transactions.
- A log of changes to the shared list (who changed what, and when).
- Layout and display preferences, kept in your own browser (local storage), not on our server.
Who can see it
The shared ticker list, its IV values and its change log are visible to every tester. Your portfolio is shown only to you in the app. The administrator can see all stored data, including portfolios. We don't sell or share your data, and the app uses no analytics, ads or third-party tracking.
Where it's kept
Data is stored on servers run by Fly.io in the United States, behind Cloudflare. Market data shown in the app is fetched from public sources (such as Nasdaq and Yahoo Finance); no personal information is sent to them.
Keeping and deleting it
Data is kept while the beta runs. To have your account and data deleted, or to get a copy, email [email protected].
